Stylist was gaslighting throughout the entire process. Impatient and was not courteous towards me and the time I set aside to get my hair done. Portra...yed herself as the unsatisfied customer with prejudiced comments towards my hair and questioning the texture and quality of my hair. Also made unsolicited comments about what was required of her to serve me. For example, stating the condition of my scalp could lead to potentially affecting her other client’s hair, and if clients see the dandruff how they would react more so in disgust which came of as degrading, especially given we are of the same race. I had medicated shampoo I came prepared before we decided to continue with the appointment. It was after blow drying my hair I was told that doing my hair with the dandruff could infect your other clients . I can’t help that I have this condition. For a stylist with this much experience I wish you’d encounter clients of all types then maybe you would suggest other treatments opposed to ridiculing me about something the doctors are trying to help with. No other stylist have put me down for dandruff. You have would have thought she was the customer with an unsatisfactory experience. I would not recommend if you are coming in to get your natural hair done, as there would be multiple stipulation placed before you to come in with before your hair is even touched. Claims to be reasonable but her tone will say otherwise. I was told all my life I had fine hair and once I stated I didn’t realize it would be a big issue of the thicker texture that we could cancel the appointment. No one will turn money away so I understood when you didn’t want to cancel the appointment and said you would still do my hair. I have a good grade of hair and it turns out beautiful no matter who touches it. It wasn’t the style that was the issue it was the professionalism and hearing about the issues of my hair the entire duration of the appointment that unsettled me.

I respect everyone review it’s makes me better but you can’t please everyone! So for starter you booked the wrong service and said your knew your hair was thick but didn't choose the service... so for me to still complete the style flawlessly and for you to be upset because I’m telling you how we need to treat and move forward with your hair so I wish the best for your hair but to be truthfully i barely talked.. due to trying to keep myself on track in my mind. Now if I was a stylist that’s did not care weather I on time for my next client or informing them about there scalp disorder.. What type of stylist would I be? 🫣
