Full Highlight Hand tied beaded weft extensions

Worst experience I've had with anything beauty related. I went to her for color and extensions. We did a consultation in sept. and ordered extensions ...2 days after, which ended up taking 2 months to come. Finally the "correct" extensions arrived after having to be sent back. The extensions were at best wavy when I have pretty curly hair and are very stringy on the bottom. I finally was able to go in after waiting so long. We started off by doing a full head of highlights and toning the extensions. Then, while my hair was still wet, the extensions were installed. I was turned around in the chair the whole time, unable to take one look at my hair. After drying, it was finally shown to me. My actual hair is thick and the extensions did not blend at all, clearly not enough hair and bad quality extensions. The color was also very dark and looked brown/orange when that was not what I asked for. I have included the pictures that I showed Jasmine for color. I said to her that it was way too dark and that the extensions were too thin. I pulled up the pictures again for color comparison and she tried to claim that she thought I wanted the extensions to look like that hair not the color, which clearly isn't true (last picture), and I wouldn't ask for something that is completely different from my hair texture/curl pattern. Clearly making up any excuse possible. She got very defensive and started to jump down my throat. She told me that I had to get a frizz treatment (charging me more) due to my hair being damaged to help loosen my curls and remove some frizz. My hair was straightened during the treatment but since I was in a dark room, far away from the mirror, I could not tell the severity of what her "highlighting" did to my hair. When finally dried, the extensions clearly still did not blend well. She then went in, cutting my hair completely randomly, almost into a blunt chop and thinning out my ends. I included a picture below where you can see that the extensions clearly don't blend. The color of my hair vs the extensions does blend better in this picture, but it doesn't look like that in any other lighting (almost like there is a filter on it?). I then went home where I saw that my hair was bright yellow/orange. Again, not what I asked for. I texted her saying, very respectfully, that I was upset with how everything turned out. She went on to argue with me and continue to be defensive. I could also feel the extensions pulling and lifting up on the ends like it wasn't even attached to my head so I looked at them where I saw that they were hanging down and pulling my hair. I have included a picture of how badly the extensions were installed. I had to go into a different salon the next day to get the color toned, because again, it was bright yellow/orange. They removed the extensions for free because they knew if left in, they would cause bad damage. Upon sending her proof of a horrible installation, she tried to blame it on others, when the video was taken before anyone else touched my hair. This made me more and more upset as a full day was wasted working with her when not one thing was correct in my hair and now I am having to spend more to fix her damage. She still argued with me and called me hurtful for stating my opinion and that of at least 5 other professional hair stylists. Her solution was for me to come back in and charge me more to do another frizz treatment and fix the color which she said she wouldn't charge me for. I had no intention on ever letting her touch my hair again after what was done and since she won't take accountability and still argued. I told her I wanted a refund for at least some of my money back but not all of it because I know time and products were used. She refused to give me anything over 1/4 of only the installation back. I still haven't received the refund I am owed even though she claims to have sent it. Clearly she just scammed at least $600 from me. Show more
