Terrible! His ink fades his lines AREN'T straight! And no one can match his work cause he's GARBAGE! Got a tattoo here 5+yrs ago the mfn bald head cli...tter cup denied finishing my tattoo because I didn't want to pay a rescheduling fee tryna rip me off after I already OVERPAID for the tattoo... terrible person, work and shop. This person rescheduled their appointment two times in a row less than an hour before they were supposed to show up and now he’s disgruntled because I refused to work with him anymore. I must say, though if I’m so “GARBAGE” why is it five years later and he still wishes I would finish his tattoo. It’s common sense a tattoo artist isn’t gonna finish your tattoo if you disrespect him. Obviously, this person has less than common sense

I have gotten two tattoos with Clister and he has created my vision perfectly every time! I got my first big piece with him and I was a little scared ...but he made me feel at ease, I knew I was in good hands. He is very professional and had a lot of pride in his work. My mom absolutely loved his work and just recently got work done by him. As for in public, I have gotten lots of compliments on my pieces- my friends have even gotten work done by him and they absolutely love it. Clister is incredible. He gave me my first tattoo in Feb of 2017. Then my second a month later and then my third a month after that. My fourth in Nov ...2019. And I’m figuring out if I want to commit to a fifth, and when I do, I’m hitting him up. He’s really creative. And reassuring! So reassuring. And patient! I recommend him to so many of my friends. Hands down will only work with him. It’s been incredible to witness his evolution and how amazing his portrait tats are. He did beautiful watercolor tats on me and I still get compliments on the bright colors 5 years later! I get compliments almost everyday on his artwork. Highly recommend Clister for your tattoo needs!! Show more

This place is amazing, nice location and the tattoo room is private enough to where your whole body isnt exposed to everyone else around in the lobby ...or barbershop. Clister takes his time and pays attention to the smallest details. Ive had over 5 tattoos done by him, with over 24 hours spent in his chair. The conversations have always been dope, The music is on point, and most importantly every time Ive left with a tattoo it has come out even better than I was hoping or anticipated. A truly slept on artist in San Diego, but by choice. He could easily be booked 24/7 but is a family man and makes time for his family activities outside of Beauty In Pain. When you book him, you will understand that his gift goes beyond recognition, and you will probably be planning your next session by the time you’re back in your car! Show more
