I’m from out of town and it was difficult finding someone in the area that specializes in natural hair care. My daughter had a wonderful experience wi...th Briana. She enjoyed the accommodating snacks and juice. She also said that the stylist was gentle from the wash bowl to the salon chair. I thought you could have done a better job at straightening my hair. It's more of a natural look, than a silk press. When I asked for curls. You seeme...d to be bothered by the request. Hey, thanks so much for your feedback. I like for all of my clients to leave my chair feeling confident and beautiful. My goal as a healthy hair enthusiast is to educate each client on healthy haircare whether it's in the salon or things you can do at home. Two stars for the atmosphere which is always nice when I come in. This is my first time booking with Briana, nice lady but my daughter’s hair did not ...come out as expected. I’m not new to the process of silk presses and I know that what makes a great silk press is the blow out. The blow out was not good, after that she flat ironed it and called me over and showed me a finished product of scraggly untrimmed looking ends and a silk press that had no bounce curl or nothing. She proceeded to tell me my daughter’s hair was very dry and it was not heat trained which was the reason for the result. I had to suggest for her to curl it now even though she wanted it straight. The curls came out nice but I was still worried, as my daughter had her graduation pictures the next day and I did t know how I would maintain the style until then. Fast forward to the morning and the style came out looking like this and now I have to do damage control so she will look nice for her pictures. Show more

I’d like to first acknowledge that the discussion that her hair wasn't heat trained was solely based off all information given to me from speaking to both you as well as the client. Due to my policies I did inform you before leaving that her hair would immediately revert back to its natural state due to lack of moisture, which then causes hair to lose its definition immediately after styling. (My policy also allows style to be altered at no price based upon stylist discretion within 48hrs) I hope that my recommendations helped you understand the importance of not just protective styling but also healthy hair, as always my open dooor policy allows you to text me with any questions.
