      Methyl methacrylate (MMA), also known as methacrylic acid or methyl ester, is a colorless liquid monomer that is a key building block for acrylic-based polymers. Halper of the FDA's Office of Cosmetics and Colors stated that the FDA considers MMA "to be a poisonous and deleterious substance and may take regulatory action against any products containing methyl methacrylate monomer and may take legal action against those involved.” MMA was banned by the FDA in the 70s but its still widely used due to how cheap it is. I had an amazing experience! From the warm welcome at the front desk to the super‑relaxing massage chairs, every moment felt like self‑care. My tech- Aisha was meticulous —shaping, cuticle work, and polish were all flawless, and she checked in at each step to be sure I loved the color and design. The salon is spotless, tools are sterilized in sealed packets, and they use top‑quality products that actually last. I walked out with gorgeous, chip‑free nails and a big smile.
