I havent had my hair cut in a salon in iver a year becausemy family is on an extremely tight budget. I was searching for a place that would be less ex...pensive than the fancy salons. I found this salon advertising womens haircuts for $25, perfect! They were able to take me first thing in the morning too, great! The woman who was working in me seemed so friendly. She asked what i wanted done and i told her just a very basic Bob as my hair was cut that way already but had grown past my shoulders. I let her know that i wanted the point in the front just last my chin about mid neck and for the rest to go shorter towards the ba k. Lile i said, a basic Bob. She asked for a picture to reference and so i showed her one i found online that was exactly how i was describing what i wanted.She asked if i wanted a shampoo to whick i said no thankyou because i had just washed and deep condition my hair the day before. I told her she could just wet it. Whike she had me in the sink wetting my hair she began putting shampoo in my hair and daid she was just going to do a little wash. I couldnt sat no at that point as she already was doing it. She then brought me to the chair to begin cutting my hair. We were chatting the whole time about our children and she finished the cut. Without my glasses on i could see that there wasnt much of a point in the front but it was a bit blurry. She asked what side i wanted the part and how i style it at home, do i use heat in my hair etc. I told heri used to use a straightenerbut stopped because i didnt want to damage my hair with heat and now i embrace my natural curls. She asked how i planned to wear it after my cut that day and i said i thi k ill do it straight to see what it looks like. She started to blow dry my hair straight. During the blow dry the heat was so high on the dryer i could feel it burning my skin and even pulled away from her a few times and said ouch! I noticed smoke coming off my hair when shed pyll the dryer away. I was almost afraid to say something. She finished and i could see that it was more of an even cut all rhe way around rather than a bob, but because she was so nice relating to.me and my situation with my son i felt too guulty to criticize her work. I thought maybe it just looked this way because she blew it to curl under . I asked how much, you know with the blow dry i figured itll be a little bit more than the $25 advertised. I was shocked when she said $55!!!! How did we get to that amount? My anxiety was getting to me and i was too nervous to ask why so much. I paid her and left. My family sees my hair later in the day and says how its not at all ehat i asked for and that i looked like Willy Wonka! They werent wront i e the haircut of willy wonka or a little dutch boy but without the bangs and its all the way up to my ears all around!!! Im so embarrased for people to see me this way that i havent left my house since i got it done! Ive include the oicture i shiwed her as a reference and a pic of what i look like after the cut. And I wanted to add that all my gorgeous curls are gone! She cut it so short the closest i can get to a curl is an ugly wave that just looks like i didnt comb my hair. Im beyond sad and disappointed. Come to find out, my daughter called and asked about pricing and i was charged extra for the wash a said i didnt want and was given anyway. Show more

I went here several months ago, myself and my two daughters, walking in I had a head full of hair, I wanted a trim and wash an set , 1st off they cut ...my hair too short, no biggie it’ll grow back, days later when I went to wash my hair it was falling out in clumps, and smelled like relaxer , Til this day my hair is very thin , breaks off Easily, and hasn't filled in yet, these people need their business License taking away asap, not only did they damage my hair but also my children, Show more

They permed the life out of my hair and it’s falling out of my head
I lived the way Nina did my hair. I saw other reviews and want to share these tips: 1) ask questions about the salon's or hairstylist's processes 2) p...ay attention to what is being done to your hair 3) ask questions about products being used 4) always do research on that salon. It was a pleasant atmosphere. There is parking available, and the salon was fairly clean. I did have some difficulty in combination with Nina as her English wasn't that strong, but we got through the appointment. When going to a salon, I look for the hairstylist to provide tips on the care of my hair, but I didn't get that here. Hopefully, they will consider this moving forward. Show more
I visited them based on glowing recommendations, and I was impressed with the results of my hair trim and press. However, after three weeks, I became ...interested in restoring my natural curls and noticed significant damage. Sadly, my once lush and full 4c hair now appears lifeless, lacking its original curl pattern and appearing flat and thin. My advice is to avoid this establishment if you cherish your natural hair. Went there 3 weeks ago to get my hair ironed as soon as she was done my hair started falling out, 3 weeks later my hair is very thin and I have bold s...pots on the side of my hair. Never will o use these people again. Show more
I like them, they get you in and out! But if you have 4b or 4c 🤞🏽🙏🏽Protect your ends they will get fried with that hot hand held hair dryer!! I t...ell them to spray my hair before putting under the dryer for 45+ mins 🙄 Show more
The first time the lady that did my hair didn’t do it properly. So I went back and got it done from another lady my wash and blowout lasted me 3weeks ...she did a great job… I will only let her do my hair. Show more
