I want to start this review off on a positive note by saying, I am absolutely in love with my tattoo, and I couldn't be more pleased with the work, ho...wever, I do feel the need to speak about my experience with the service. Upon booking I noticed various reviews that were centered around timing, but alongside those reviews I saw the artists' replies, which prompted me to believe it was human error, and those that scheduled the booking were at fault, but I noticed quickly that that was not the case. My appointment was scheduled for 12:00 PM and I arrived at the location about 10 minutes early. Since I was early I figured I'd call the artist to let them know I was there, and that was when I was informed he was finishing up another client and I could feel free to come wait inside, or wait out in my car. Since I was early I figured the wait would be no more than 20 minutes and I opted to wait in my car, but I quickly realized that the wait was going to be more than 20 minutes. At about 12:30 I texted to ask about how much longer until he would be finished to which I received a phone call in which the artist stated there was really no time estimate with the tattoo, because all tattoo take different amounts of time (a paraphrased version of our conversation). At this point I began to grow anxious and frustrated as this was my first tattoo, and this place was an hour and 30 minutes from my house so I couldn't just drive back home to wait. I made an attempt to kill some time by driving around the area, but despite my trying to be understanding of the situation, I began to grow more frustrated with how the day was going. I then recieved a text at 230 ish that he was almost done with the previous client and it wouldn't be for another hour that I was told he was ready for me. During my wait I also noticed a seemingly passive aggressive Instagram post about being patient while hes working on other clients to which I felt was directed towards me, and made me feel understandably upset. If the post wasnt directed towards me thats fine but im sure how you could see in the moment how that could be directed towards you. Upon finally getting inside and getting starting there was not really any sympathy for the time that had passed and im not saying that should have been required, I just think it would have been a good courtesy. He didn't really ask me if i wanted to see the stinsil (it was on my back) and I kind of just felt as though I should go along with the process so I could go on about my day, as the entirety of my day consisted of drivig and waiting. Overall I feel as though there was a lack of certain standard professionalism and could have appreciated a heads up that me session was going to be late. Despite these flaws the artist is a very talented individual, and I will more than likely return in the future,I just wish there was a higher degree of professionalism. (The picture of the stinsil was taken for my by my bf) Edit: In reply to the artist I wasnt rushing you to finish up with your current clint, I was under the impression it wouldn't take long. I was just annoyed that there was lack of transparency about how late my appointment was going to be especially if you knew you had a client before my appt and it would take a while. I understand its a time consuming job and I applaud you for being one of those people who take the time to do it, there was just some understandable frustration, and im sure how you can see how if you were waiting for four hours for something almost two hours from you house with no heads up that your appointment would be late, you would be understandably upset. Gotta understand I will not rush NO clients works whatsoever rushing can cause scars and damage to the skin yes you booked at the time u say but you gotta be aware when a clients in the chair please be PATIENT and hun you weren't the only one I had you and another client and possible future clients texting and me rushing me to get back to them !! I also do NOT pick my phone up during a session bc of sanitation it’s a lot of factors that fall in place with this review just be understanding I am a tattoo artist working on OPEN skin and BLOOD i am not a hairstylist or a barber
