THIS BARBER BERATED ME IN THE CHAIR. My goal going into my appointment was to fix the shape of my style while maintaining as much length as possible.... We started with reference photos and a conversation about my hair. The cut did not meet my expectations. Upon getting home, I realized I was unsatisfied, so I let him know via text and asked if I could come back to fix it up. He said, “Yes.” Cool. I’m thinking everything’s gonna be alright. When I came to get it fixed, the shape was still off, even after communication. On top of this, I realized that about 2 to 3 inches of my hair had been cut off. I have been growing my hair for a year now, and it was visually apparent to him that I was frustrated because of this setback. However, I did not blame him or berate him for my frustration; that was a ME thing. HE began to berate ME for LOOKING frustrated. He raised his voice, almost yelling at me, to the point where I felt at risk of my hair being purposely messed up. I trust that he did his best, yet I’m disappointed with the haircut. Most of all, however, I’m upset with how I was treated when he realized I was disappointed with it.
