Absolutely amazing!!! I am new to CT and haven’t had my nails done in a little over a year since moving here. I LOVE getting my nails done and am very... particular about my nails. I went to the same salon/person for 5 years prior to moving. My 3 adult daughters did as well. I work at Marshall’s just a few buildings down, as does 1 of my daughters so AvonMax has the perfect location for me. I went so far as to going back “home” to my salon cuz I was “nail sick” and I had every intention of going back for my fills, unfortunately life happens and that wasn’t very realistic so I made the appointments for a gel fill with Morin and OMG!!! What a sweetheart!! And her talent for nails is phenomenal!! I ended up with such a beautiful glitter ombré nail, a picture would do no justice! As she was finishing my nails she helped me pick out, I was already thinking of what I can have done in 2 weeks when I come back for a full cuz this girl is talent times 100!! My daughters will be scheduling appointments very soon and can’t wait to get their nails done for the first time in 1 & a half years!! The place is beautiful and very clean. The staff was friendly and everyone was working hard. My pedicure was fine. The low rating is due to the eyebro...w waxing. I just needed my eyebrows to be cleaned up. I left with thin strip/line of my thick eyebrows. I am still in shock every time I look in the mirror. She had no idea how to wax eyebrows. It will take months for my eyebrows to grow back to what they were, if they do. Maybe I’ll go and try a manicure because there were lots of customers getting their nails done, but I will never have any waxing services done here. Show more

I can understand how you feel because you like your eyebrows and you just needed to clean it up but our staff thinned it out.
