Makiya was really lovely. She had a very sweet energy and made the appointment so calming and comfortable that I was even falling asleep during the se...ssion lol. I have to find another occasion to get my makeup done now! My only complaint is that I would’ve liked to receive more proactive communication about the location. It’s not the easiest area to figure out where to go. Also, when I went into the booksy app to see how much to pay her, the price had gone up $30 from when I booked her. I would’ve liked more notice and clarification around that price change. Whether it was a notification that the price had changed and a confirmation if I still wanted to book or a notification that the price increased but that I would still be paying at the rate I booked for. My friend ended up paying her,m the new rate but if I was confronted with this during the appointment I would’ve been irritated for sure because I didn’t consent to the new price. Anyway, more detailed communication would be great. But all in all I had a lovely experience.
