Ciera takes the time to understand Your hair. She asks the right questions, she explains things in detail's, she lays out a regimen for you. Cierra is awesome! She is knowledgeable and honest. During my consultation I could tell I was in good hands. She not only asked me about my concerns b...ut she thoroughly examined my hair. She then came up with a treatment plan to address what we discussed. Due to the condition of my hair, during the styling process she was honest and explained to me thoroughly what needed to be done, to return my hair to its optimal health. Which I really appreciated. I booked here based on the spectacular reviews. Unfortunately, I did not get the service others raved about. Though I do notice, that the other review...s don’t mention Yodit. That’s who I was booked with. I scheduled a silk press for my teen daughter, which looked like a blow dry and curl. Her hair is very healthy, and usually looks shiny after a silk press. It looks dull and thicker than usual. Her roots clearly weren’t pressed down either. And nothing was done with her edges. Where I sat, I couldn’t get a good visual of my daughter in the chair, but I constantly heard Yodit fumbling items and dropping them on the floor. My daughter later told me she felt Yodit didn’t know what she was doing. That surely got proven. When was done, Yodit told my daughter that she’d spray some more hairspray on her hair. And when she started spraying, the other stylist, informed her that she was spraying heat protectant, not hairspray. This makes me wonder, what else did she do wrong?! This “silk press” cost double what we usually pay, but our usual stylist was’t available so I figured I’d give this location a try. I regret it. I could have done a much better job at home and saved my money. And as the final straw, Yodit had us standing there for 5 minutes while she struggled to figure out how to take my payment. And they charge $5 to use a card! If I’d been made aware of that, I could have gone across the street and gotten the cash during the 2 1/2 hour struggle session. To make matters worse, the limited interaction with Yodit made it clear that she didn’t understand what I said, which I don’t know if it’s a language barrier or another issue. But, for example when I asked if my receipt would be sent to me, she responded “No.” So I asked how I’d get the receipt, she responded, “they’ll email it.” I was done. And I’m done using my precious time to warn others. I don’t know about how well anyone else is at that salon, but beware of Yodit. Show more
