First and last time client. I booked an appointment with Carlos for 11:15 upon arrival. I spoke to a gentleman. He directed me to the front desk. When... I went to the front desk, I asked for Carlos, nobody greeted me. The bald man with the black 0 (ironic) sent me to the bearded gentleman. I asked the gentleman if he was Carlos. He nodded and proceeded to initiate my haircut. I look and notice the name Carlos on the tv and the status of available on display. The bald man then comes from behind the counter and sits in the chair next to me and proceeds to get a haircut, which is strange because he’s bald with bad hair implants, but that’s besides the point. I notice the people talking to this man are referring to him as Carlos. So I look at my barber, who has been silent this whole time, and I ask him his name, and he responded, “ Edwin”(bait and switch !!)and to top it off, my appointment was changed the moment I walked in(weird). So I asked Edwin if he didn't hear me ask if his name was Carlos . I disliked the haircut; the sides were high and barely faded, but somehow I was given a facial I didn't ask for, by the way. I tipped him an additional 20 as a sign of faith, and I humbly asked him to cut my sides lower like his own. (Wishful thinking that somebody with the same hairstyle as myself would be able to make it look as good as their own.) I was then upcharged to 60, no problem. I got only an edge taper fade on ponytail hair( a 15 percent haircut at most lol). I would rather just have a good haircut than a facial, honestly. I checked out and ended up having to go to another barber to finish the job. I promise money isn't the issue. This was a case of treating a customer like trash on an empty Sunday morning (joke kinda writes itself). I've seen reviews rave about Carlos, but I will be honest if a person can cherry-pick their clientele, that would explain the best ratings in the shop ❤️ Now the owner Carlos wants to lie and say I never showed up after apologizing and asking to make this right l. If I never showed up explain how I still have your parking pass from my visit ? I'll upload picture of it when I get back in my car Now I'm taking this review cross platform ! THANK YOU!
