The barber Megz did really well for a cut they haven’t done in a while from what they said. Very clean, very professional. The style I requested was a... shadowed box fade. Megz did it very cleanly. They even told me about an ingrown hair I have that I didn’t know about until I went to the shop! Show more

I got a trim on my growing out buzz cut from Megs and it was the bomb! Megs was very friendly and made me feel very comfortable and taken care of. Not... to mention gave me a great cut!! I always have a great experience at Bishops and I definitely would recommend Megs! Show more
Kids' cuts Haircut
I took my 9 yr old son to see Megz for the first time this weekend. His hair had grown out a lot and we were going super short for the summer. He was ...not thrilled to go so short, but afterwards kept saying how great it looked and felt. I have never heard my kid talk about how much he liked his hair ever. He has some of the styling powder like she used on him that he refused to use. Now that he saw how she used it and sees it won’t make his hair feel gross he’s even excited to start styling it! Despite his expression of pure boredom and disinterest during his appointment (kids! Lol) he said he wants to go back to see Megz for his next cut. She’s new in town and building up her clientele and we highly recommend her! Show more
Second time here and I was so happy with my cut (from Thomas), and my son was as well (from Meg). Thomas took the time to talk to me the first time an...d give me gentle advice about what would look best on me... and he was SO RIGHT. Fabulous conversations too! Note that even if (as a woman) you have what seems like short hair (way above the shoulder), it is considered a "long cut." Only $10 more, but it helps to know that going in (since you have to self-select when making an appointment). It seems to mirror what other salons call "men's" vs "women's" cuts, and it makes sense that they're staying away from gender-based terms. Show more
