Alex does great haircuts and is personable, but after my recent experience, I will be finding a different barber. Alex texted me that he would be late... to our 2:00 appointment, i immediately followed up to see how late since it was 1:55 and I was already at the shop. I did not receive a response from him until 2:40 pm after sending a second message to get a response. By that time, I needed to leave the shop and was frustrated, so that appointment was missed. I still needed a cut and decided to try once again the next day (today) because i really need a cut before starting the work week. I texted Alex at 11 am to confirm a 3:30 appointment and ensure that he would be at the shop, but I never received a response or even an apology for being late. No acknowledgment whatsoever. This could have easily been rectified with clearer communication and some accountability, but unfortunately, there was none. Show more

I’ve tried to give my Alex the benefit of the doubt for quite some time, but the level of unprofessionalism has been consistent and unacceptable. Near...ly every appointment I’ve had has started late. Often excessively late, despite me following up and confirming in advance. I always seem to get the shortest end of the stick. For today’s appointment, I even reached out the night before to see if we needed to push back my time since I had a 2:00 PM meeting. He replied only 1.5 hours before my appointment, moving it from 11:30 to 12:00. I arrived on-time at 12:00, but by 12:30 he still hadn’t shown up, and offered zero communication or follow-up. My time is valuable, and this kind of disregard is frustrating and unprofessional. Unfortunately, I can’t continue to support a business that doesn’t respect its clients’ schedules. Show more
