Great personality but over all service was not what I had hoped. I booked a wash and retwist and it was not professionally done. Only washed my hair w...ith shampoo doesn’t condition. If you’re tender headed best of luck. The appointment was quick which showed in the retwist. Parts weren’t clean and the retwist lasted barely a week. The prices on Booksy are not the same as in person. Very nice person tho. Show more

During your consultation, Essence noted the condition of your locs and recommended a deeper restorative treatment (which includes a clarifying shampoo and specific strengthening techniques) to ensure a clean, strong, and long-lasting retwist. We understand that this extended service came with a higher fee, which you decided to pass on at that time. We do our very best to deliver excellent results within the scope of the service selected, but in cases where a client's hair has significant damage or build-up, a standard wash and retwist service may not hold as long or look as clean as desired. She is the only stylist I’ve been to tha...t understands my hair just as much as I do , and gets the job done in reasonable time .
