I genuinely loved Claudia’s work, and she has done an amazing job on my lashes in the past, which makes this experience even more disappointing. I boo...ked a same-day appointment through her booking system during an available time slot, received a confirmation an hour before my appointment, and drove 35 minutes to her home. Before arriving, I even texted early like 25 minutes before my appointment because the address in the app was incorrect. My message was read, but I never received a response. When I got to her door, I knocked and waited, only to discover that my appointment had been canceled. At the time, I believed it had been canceled only about 20 minutes before my appointment because that’s when I first noticed it. After I posted my original review, she told me she had actually canceled it that morning and simply didn’t have time to call me. To me, that explanation made the situation even more disappointing. If the appointment had already been canceled that morning, and you later read my message asking for the correct address while I was clearly on my way, a quick text or phone call would have prevented me from driving 35 minutes to a canceled appointment. Instead, I arrived, knocked on the door, and only discovered the cancellation by checking the booking app myself. What was most frustrating was that, rather than taking responsibility for the lack of communication, the explanation focused on the booking system and whether it sent me a notification. Regardless of what the app did or didn’t do, once she knew the appointment was canceled and saw that I was trying to find her address, I believe a direct text or phone call would have been the right thing to do. I completely understand that emergencies and unexpected situations happen. My disappointment isn’t about the cancellation itself—it’s about the lack of communication and accountability. Because I genuinely loved her work and had overlooked other inconveniences in the past, this experience was especially disappointing. Unfortunately, I won’t be returning.
