After years of going to the barbershop for haircuts, there was always some issue with scissor cuts. After being encouraged by my sister to visit a hai...r salon, despite being unsure since I had never been to one before and assumed it was only for women, I decided to give it a shot. Upon entering, my nerves vanished almost immediately as I was greeted in a way I wasn't used to, with great care and attention to what I wanted. I consider myself a low-maintenance guy but I was blown away with her service and hospitality. On top of this, the conversation I had with Vanessa was one that you don't often have with new people; it was meaningful and demonstrated sincere concern for the person. She sees people as more than just another slot in a schedule, but as individuals with distinct needs that she wishes to meet, and as newfound friends she would like to get to know. After such a positive experience, I persuaded my younger brother to give her a try because he too had previously had trouble with scissor cuts, and once again she delivered exactly what he wanted, and he loves his new look. I highly recommend going out and scheduling with her; you will not be disappointed. I look forward to the next time I need a haircut! Show more
