Took my daughter for 2 strand twists, they looked good for about 3 hours then they began to come loose! Now money wasted bc all her twists are halfway... loose! I contacted Zuri and she was not willing to correct the issue or refund me even partially! She twisted my daughters hair using no product at all which is stupid from the start!! I will never go back!! Show more

If I could give zero stars for this place I would. For starters, there's no such thing as ambiance here just a junky looking closet with fold out chai...rs. I took my daughter for a simple style they texted me asking for more money due to her length. That was fine because my daughters hair is long. Then about 45 mins later they text asking me to pay now. Not sure about you all but this has never happened to me. So I made my way back to the salon and the partially done braids looked so unprofessional. Not only that she kept slapping thick layers of Vaseline in my baby's head. She also kept complaining about how long my daughters hair is and how they should have charged more. Needless to say we took the little she had done out and left that place. We will never go back and hopefully you won't either. Show more

3 weeks ago I called and made an appointment for my boyfriend. He arrived 5 minutes early and had to wait 2 hours past his appointment time to get in ...the chair. Don’t know why but we gave this place the benefit of the doubt and made an appointment for yesterday. He arrived 10 minutes early and the lady wasn’t even there. He was told she would be back soon and she finally arrived 30 minutes after the appointment. and his braids aren’t even even. This is so unprofessional. He will not be going back. Show more

I had an 8 am appointment she didn't arrive until 8:45 am said she had to drop her kids off. I went in for one style showed picture days before the appointment just to get there and she say she can’t do it I ask for a different style to still ...get not so good results she charged $90 didn’t even drop anything off the price and the work look like it was worth $40 get home and my boyfriend and kids ask who did that because it look like I went to a beginner at their house and not a shop to get my hair. Set an appointment, drove 2hrs to get micro braids get there and she was still doing someone else's hair. So we rescheduled for the next day, said she... had no one else's hair to do. I've been to Zuri several times and she's never done my hair this bad. I got my hair done last week and unfortunately, it will be my last visit. I got... box braids and my parts are huge. They're big enough to be 2 parts. My braids are different lengths and different sizes. The difference in size is beyond noticeable. The knot is as big as my thumb. I'm not sure what happened this time, maybe she was having a bad day. Show more
My appointment was scheduled for 1 pm. I called early that day to confirm my appointment. I arrived 10 minutes early and she was not there. I called h...er to see where she was and I was told to wait because she would be there soon. She did not arrive until 1:35. WAITED 45 MINUTES BEFORE SHE ARRIVED. On top of that she stopped midway through my hair because she had to pick up her child from school. She left me in the chair for an hour with only a few braids done. Do not book! Very unprofessional. Very efficient and professional!
Philo did a great job on my daughter's box braids. She washed and conditioned her hair prior to braiding. The hair was included with the price. It too...k her about 3 hours to complete medium sized braids. I recommend her services to anyone in search of a professional Braider. Show more
