My son came in with about 3 inches of curly hair on top and hasn’t had a haircut in about a month. He is mixed with 3b curly hair. He had a full head ...of hair and we have never had any issues with his hairline when getting a cut or a shape up. Always came away with a crispy line up from any other barber. I found this barbershop on Booksy and decided to book as I needed an appointment that was available and near me. I went in and I’m not sure who the barber was as he never introduced himself or gave a name. But I told him we wanted a dark caeser for some waves. I told him we were getting rid of the curls. He took my son and when he was done I was completely in shock to see many light patches, an uneven cut, no crispy edges, and worst of all bald spots in his hairline. I was beyond upset. The barber tried to tell me it was my son’s hair texture and that it just appeared like there was no hair due to the texture. He also said this happens sometimes when u wait for long to get a cut. I chose not to argue as I was so upset and just paid the $20. My son expressed he hated his haircut and I literally burst into tears once in my car. I felt so bad I had selected this barber shop that butchered my son’s hair. Now my son has to go back to school and get roasted tomorrow. I’m not sure if this barber had much experience with mixed hair of this texture but I think he cut off too much hair with the scissors. I also noticed he didn’t bother to comb out the hair either. He simply cut the curls off curly, then went in with the clippers. I can only assume that this is where he went wrong as I’m not a barber clearly and if I knew I would have said something in the moment. Needless to say I will NEVER return here nor would I recommend based on this. Worst experience my son and I have ever had thus far from Any barber. If I could rate zero stars then I would. Show more
