Overall my hair came nice like its pretty i like it for the most part. The only comment about my individual braids is they aren’t close in size like i...ts some medium but then its some tiny so the sizes jumps which i noticed later due to i really was ready to go home by the end of the appointment. The people their are super nice its just my overall experience didn’t go that great. my appointment was for 2pm i arrived at1:53pm only to have received a message at 1:48pm asking can i come at 2:30pm which I was fine with once i went inside the 3 ladies their stated my appointment was for 3pm and i was like i booked for 2pm but okay so they later explained the lady was running late so they was just their trying to help. The ladies their were super nice and i felt bad because they are just in an awkward position. But anyways so someone washed my hair and dried it. The person they sent to actually do my hair didn’t arrive until 3:20pm so once she is about to start the braiding hair is brought up which i only had color hair the 1b hair was supposed to be provided. The ladies their said they had the last of the hair so they had to call someone to bring hair or find out when the hair was coming. My only issue is had I not brought any hair my hair wouldn’t have been done because the hair being brought didn’t show up for another hour or 2. So that part was just concerning due to id then be trying to find somewhere else to get my hair done. So the lady who was doing my hair i guess she just tried to stretch the hair i brought to avoid ruining out of hair. So this is why my braids aren’t as full as id like them to be. Thats pretty much it. So overall my experience wasn’t great the people their were super nice and handled being in the awkward situations great. Thats why i gave 3 stars because my hair came out nice and the ladies their were super nice and handle the awkward situations well. If everything would’ve went better I would have gave 5 stars. Everyone was so nice! The owner was very communicative, answering my calls and questions. I booked an appointment very easily through booksy the day b...efore to have my hair ready for a photoshoot this friday and it did not disappoint—I feel gorgeous and ready for my pictures! ( I keep getting compliments since getting my hair done!) They offer wash and blowdry service, and you can bring your own shampoo/conditioner. The wash experience was very relaxing, the products smelled amazing, and I had no pain with any detangling. She asked before using any products like grease, explained how to care for my hair afterward, and even offered water and stretch breaks. Even though I haven’t had braids in a while, they felt light. She made sure to ask if I was tender-headed or if the braiding was too tight, and she offers the option for straight or curled ends. You can also request a second braider if available. The space was comfortable and modern (a bit chilly, so bring a jacket). Overall, an amazing experience—I’m so glad I went to Blessing, and will for my future braiding appointments! Show more
