She is very professional, knows what she is doing and gives a killer haircut! Not many we have been to can do a proper fade and she kills it every time! We are thrilled to have her close by. For the past five years, Courtney has consistently given me excellent haircuts, so I was excited to visit her at her new spot, NorthWest Barber Lounge... in Yelm. Just like before, the experience was fantastic! Courtney has a knack for remembering exactly how I like my basic men's haircut. The straight razor neck cleanup is always a plus. Quite literally the best hair experience I've ever had. Everyone at Shaves and Blades is kind and attentive to what their client wants and needs. The ...barbers are super knowledgeable, from hair dye to straight razor shaves to perms and so on, they can do it all and exceed expectations. Courtney is my preferred barber but from my experience, there's no way to go wrong with Shaves and Blades other than not be there. They not only are amazing at their jobs, but they're fantastic people who really learn their clients. Show more

Shaves and Blades has a great atmosphere. It’s clean, bright, and well organized. It has a very trendy feel to it, but with some down home people. The... staff is very friendly and very good at their craft. I have had appointments with almost all of the staff (Courtney is my favorite, but they are all great) and never had a bad cut or experience. In the coming weeks they are rolling out some new features, so go check them out. Show more
Took my sons here the other day for the first time and it will now be my go to barber for their unruly hair. From the first phone call to make an appo...intment to the haircut itself was professional, kind, and an all around great experience. I spoke with Stephanie to make an appointment and she was very kind and accommodating. Courtney did my boys hair and she was patient while they tried to explain what they wanted and she was very kind to them both. She did an excellent job! The inside is really nice and looks very clean. Everyone in there was visually in a good mood, rocking out to music and in full blown conversations with their client's. The whole vibe of the place was awesome. It was mighty busy so I do reccomend snagging an appointment and parking is a bit difficult. Show more
