Loved it here so much very cozy and comfy place to be in! I felt so comfortable and had the pleasure to be around such a sweet and loving person! She ...took the time to make sure everything was perfect and I could not be any happier with her services! She always makes sure you are comfortable and doing good! Very sweet and sociable person when receiving the service. But the quality of the lamination, tint, and brow cleanup was poor. Despite her insistence ...this “scary” and dark appearance is normal, I know it is not, due to getting the same 3 services done in conjunction a few other times by another practitioner in Winchester Va. Those past times i received the service I left their salon looking and feeling like a million bucks. I went straight out on the town and took many selfies. On the contrary, this service gave me a panic attack when I saw the results, and I didn’t see them until later because she didn’t have a mirror available at the time of service. Of the $80 I paid, I was givenh only $30 back. That’s still $50 for a stressful day and brows I had to spend a long time trying to fix on my own. I was also told if I take the partial-refund I am no longer welcome back as a client. It’s not good customer service to do that to someone when the fault is yours. This was objectively poor quality, not straight lines, and much too dark. The brow shapes were uneven and not matching each other. I agreed to brows “a little darker” than my hair. My brows were dyed what looked to be 2 or 3N, when my hair is 7N. I understand mistakes happen and it can take some time to build up experience, but this was not dealt with tactfully. I would not have given 1 star if this was dealt with better. I advise the following to the practitioner: line up the brows using string brow mapping, color match to the shade desired by the client that they choose from a dye color chart, apply dye to the bottom of the brow very precisely with a fine tip angled brush and then spool it upwards as to not over saturate the brow with dye that will bleed outside of the mapping lines, show the client your work and don’t let them leave until they are fully satisfied, and if you make objective errors offer a full refund. It sucks to lose money but that’s the right thing to do when it’s your mistake. This industry thrives on “word of mouth” so burning a client with many connections is not constructive for your brand.
