Had a wonderful experience with Karla. I had a pixie cut in need of a shape up and color and she did great. She was so sweet and such a good listener.... Gave me exactly what I wanted. Would highly recommend her and Salon Mixx! Show more
No one beats Karla for curly cuts! I went to other so called curly hair stylists before Salonmixx and they were a joke compared to Karla!
I love love love it!!!!! I went to Karla a little nervous because Noone had touched my hair in at least a year. My hair was long and I needed a severe... changed. She out did herself. It looks and feels amazing. The whole vibe in the salon was amazing. I'm in my 50's and it was by far the best experience I have ever had. Thank you so much Karla you have elevated the game. My short bob and my silver and gray color is just what I needed to give myself a new look and outlook. It's amazing what it does for the soul. See you again soon!! Show more

All the stylists are amazing and specialize in nearly every hair..., make-up, fantasy color, glitter strands you name it they do it. They always play the best variety of music and the decor if fantastic, artistic, and some stylists even make jewelry and art! I love this spot. Show more
I've been following Salon Mixx's instagram for a while & today I decided to walk in to see if there was any openings. Lucky me, they did! Coincidental...ly, I also follow Karla & she happened to be my stylist! I went in for the big chop. All I can say is, I'm absolutely in love with my haircut. She did exactly what I asked for & exceeded my expectations. She was also a lot of fun! We laughed at lot & everyone else just seemed so friendly & nice! I will definitely be back. PS. Could not recommend this salon more! Karla is my hair savior!! I have A LOT of hair that is curly and has a mind of its own. I have had a lot of hair ...dressers that claim to be able to cut curly hair only to find out that they honestly didn't. If you are like me and dread finding a hair stylist that won't leave you disappointed, you have found the right place!! I can't say enough great things about Karla!! She really listens to what you want, explains what she is doing, and provides pointers that are super helpful to keep your new look just as amazing as the day you left her chair. I am receiving compliments on my curls long after her cut. I recently had Karla highlight my hair to hide my ever appearing grays and all I can say is WOW! I LOVE LOVE LOVE how she did the highlights and the trim gave my hair a revitalized bounce. She is amazing! And the salon is overall great, all of the staff is super friendly, the decor is entertaining to look at (especially if you are like me, when adding color to your hair translates to a several hours visit). No matter your hair type or style you are looking for, there is a stylist here for you! Show more

Can't rave enough about Salon Mixx. The vibe in this place is always amazing and it's cool to watch every other clients hair transform while I'm getti...ng mine done. So much talent in one place. Karla has been doing my hair for a couple years now and it was dry and damaged when I first saw her and she waved her magic comb and I left w amazing color and the softest hair! She knows her products and she is so much fun to hang out with. I recommend Salon Mixx all the time. Karla is amazing with my browns and she has done my daughters blonde balayage too. Dr. Karla....because if there was a PhD in hair she'd have one with summa cum laude honors. My hair is thick with some wave but I have a lot of hair......you really have to know hair to get the cut and texture right. She even gave me hair care tips that completely transformed my hair. I'm 47 years old and have very little grays but my hair was looking dull. I followed all of Karla's recommendations and my hair is vibrant and shiny. Karla also cut my 8 year olds hair and we all know how honest kids are; after her cut my daughter said "I love my hair". After we left the salon she told me "I love her (Karla)". Karla exceeded my expectations and she better be cutting hair beyond retirement because honestly, no one else will do. Show more

Love Salon Mixx , specifically Karla. She was very sweet and knew exactly what I needed for my curly hair. She is very knowledgeable in haircuts and h...airstyles; specially for curly hair (which has always been a challenge for me to find). She took her time and explained to me the best ways to take care of my hair myself. She also did my hair for my wedding which was amazing; it lasted all day. I am so happy I found this salon! It has been about 2 years since I had last cut my hair and it was severely overdue. I had planned for the haircut du...ring my lunch hour so I arrived on time, if not a little early. The receptionist was so welcoming and nice, offered me a drink, and a seat. She came back a minute or so later to let me know that Karla was running late. I told her that I was on my lunch hour and she was able to speak with Karla and get my hair wash started, which I thought was very customer oriented. Not only that, but the person that washed my hair took over for Karla and started blow drying Karla's current client so that Karla could start with me. I haven't seen customer service like this since I left PA 25 years ago! Karla was extremely informative, encouraging and helpful to me. I love my new cut and will be back. A note about the salon overall - it's extremely clean and I love the artwork. Great people and great place! Show more
