Things I love about Melissa: - She really listens to her clients and their vision! Every conversation we had, I felt understood and like I was her top priority! - Her professionalism is the gold standard. With many moving parts to an event day, she is able to go with the flow and adapt while also keeping the high standards of her services! - She is just SO COOL! Seriously! Sitting in a hair and makeup chair for hours can be daunting and intimidating. She makes you feel comfortable though every step and is an absolute delight to chat with! With Melissa, you go into a hair & makeup chair with "a vendor", and leave the chair with a new Bestie! Melissa has your back (also, your face, neck, hair, etc...) and will help your beauty vision come to life! I worked in the entertainment for years and Melissa was always my favorite makeup artist on set. She knows how to enhance my features but keeps me fee...ling like myself. She also has an amazing ability to do a more dramatic look that left me feeling completely transformed. From the beginning, she took the time to me to get to know my style and what makes me feel beautiful. When I got engaged I knew Melissa just had to do my makeup! She delivered as always and made my bridesmaids and I look stunning. She was supportive on my big day and put me at ease during the chaos. She has an excellent reputation. For the almost 20 years I have known her she has conducted herself with grace and professionalism. I cannot recommend her enough.

Melissa Got My Style! Melissa and her team did hair and make up for my son and daughter in laws wedding last weekend on the beautiful Catalina Island..., last weekend! The initial consult is intimate, personal, and thorough, so she can achieve the perfect look for the bride and there are no surprises, misunderstandings, or undesirable outcomes. It’s this meticulousness that sets her work apart. She is able to create *any* look, which is remarkable!!! As I’ve said, I’ve used her beyond just weddings! She can do anything from a soft glam to a full beat with effortless ease. She can create Hollywood glamour waves or a sophisticated hair design. Whatever you want. Her ability to create epic hair is just something out of this world. She’s done a Vikings -style braided look (hair was down) on me that I still can’t believe was accomplished with my whack hair 😂. Basically there is nothing Melissa can’t do to actualize yoir wedding dreams. She did a very beautiful classic look on my best friend for her wedding, too (and mine as bridesmaid!) that was just so light and fresh for a wedding. That’s what the bride wanted and the look was perfection. I prefer a full-on glam, and she can whip that out without hesitation. Basically there is no one I recommend more for weddings.
