I’d like to provide some context regarding the appointment to ensure the situation is fully understood. ​The safety of the pets in my care is my absolute priority. During the two hours I worked with your dog, she was showing extreme levels of anxiety and restlessness. While I always strive to complete every service, I cannot safely operate high-speed clippers on a dog that is biting or moving uncontrollably—especially when performing a reverse #10 cut. This is a technical, close-to-the-skin cut that carries a high risk of injury if a dog is not still. ​I did complete the bath and a portion of the grooming, but I reached a point where continuing would have put your dog’s physical safety at risk. The $35 fee reflects the two hours of labor, the bath, and the professional assessment made to prevent an accident. ​I also feel there was a significant language barrier between us, as we were communicating through translated text messages. This likely contributed to a misunderstanding regarding the time and effort already put into the service before it became unsafe to continue. I understand your frustration that the full vision wasn't met, but I will never prioritize a haircut over a dog's well-being. I wish you and your dog the best in finding a grooming environment that suits her specific needs."
