I had my hair braided recently, and while the style was neat, the parts were inconsistent—smaller in front, bigger in back. She explained it was for f...ullness, but I prefer uniform parts. The communication was good, but I would have liked that clarity up front. I did feel like she knew it wasn’t her best work, as she didn’t post content like she usually does. Also, hair wasn’t included, which I didn’t know beforehand. She did tell me there was a hair store nearby and had black hair in stock, but I wanted color, so I had to go buy some before starting. The setting was a screened-in garage—it was warm but manageable. On the positive side, both ladies had great energy, gave me breaks to stretch, offered me food, and were very friendly. I’d give them another chance, but with clearer expectations and ideally in a different setting.

Thank you for your review. And not that my work wasn’t good, she was heavily pregnant and I wanted to respect her privacy and not post a pregy, In as much as I understood her situation I did not want to keep her for long because of her situation . and she wanted medium box braids, but I tried to make it a bit smaller, next time I will do one parting size.

I wasn’t impressed by this stylists work, I told her I wanted boho braids and I wanted small/medium and her work was very mediocre. I was charged $225... and the braids were not neatly done, large in size and when i complained about the size she told me “you should’ve told me when i started and not wait until i was finished” very disheartening. I will not be returning to get my hair done here. SHOW her a picture of how you want your hair done because she doesn’t understand what small/medium is. Disappointment!
