She's kind and professional, and SHE Always does a GREAT JOB. THE best part is she does not hurt your head. She takes pride in her work. Ayo has a very strong work ethic. For a long time customer, you'd expect a little more grace. I drive about 3-4 hours total to visit this salon. It doesn't bother me because I believe ...Ayo does good work. This review is about service, not style. For whatever reason, there is a duplicate address about 25 minutes away. Booksy, when sending you a calendar invite for your appointment, uses this duplicate address. I arrived at the duplicate address before the grace period ended. As soon as I realized that I was in the wrong place, I gave her a call. No answer. So I started driving to her salon but my ETA was now bumped up to 20 minutes. I arrive to her salon about 15 minutes after the grace period ended to which she had replied that she had a date with her husband and couldn't start taking down my hair. I begged her just to do as much as she could with the remaining time that we had left in our appointment and that I would finish the rest. She said there wouldn't be enough time for her to get ready to go on a date with her husband. So there I was, 7 months pregnant, after driving in 2 hours of unpredictable traffic, sitting in her parking lot, weeping in my car. I have never been treated this way by someone before and as a business owner, I would personally never treat a long time customer like that. In that moment, I made up in my mind that I would never come back to her again, after years of patronizing her business. Praying for the best for you and your business, Ayo, but I won't be coming back. Show more
