Good Morning, I do not want this review to be taken negatively but as future reference that all braiders have their very own style and some of your br...aiders appear to be more experienced than others. This is my third appointment at Braids for TiTi and I’ve had three different braiders. Addie was my first braider and I absolutely loved her, she is one of the most experienced braiders, she’s quick, she has her own unique style, and her professionalism prompted me to return for my second appointment. Addie wasn’t available for my second appointment so, I was given to another braider who’s chair is directly across from Addie’s. Her style was a little different- I say that because I had a colored high- light added to my braids, and I think Addie braided the color in better, but I was pleased with both results!!!!! For my third appointment, I was given Dama, who was very pleasant but she invited her daughter to assist her with the braiding. First and the most important thing is that Dama didn’t even consider asking me first if I minded her daughter assisting. Second, none of the braiders had other braiders assisting them,but she ( the daughter) only assisted other braiders with separating hair. And thirdly, it hurt like hell having one braider pulling your scalp one way and another pulling your scalp another way. It was the worse experience I had coming to Braids by TiTi. I’m aware that braids are slightly painful, but Saturday’s appointment was awful. Dama kept reminding her daughter not to pull, after I keep twitching around in the chair and saying it hurt. And my appointment took five hours instead of four as stated, however, at my other two appointments , it only took four hours or less. You would think with two braiders, the timing would have been shorter. However, I was somewhat pleased with my results, even though the braids were smaller in size than what I had asked for. In the future, having a second braider assist should be a choice for that customer, especially with knotless braids and the cost customers are paying to get them. Sincerely S. Brown Show more
