This is not my first time going to Monique for my hair and every time I go she executes my hair flawlessly. This time by the time I got home it was pu...ffier than normal and granted yes it's been very humid outside but it puffed up super quick and when I got my hair it wasn't crazy humid just yet but I didn't think much of it. My boyfriend had a Christmas party the day after she did my hair and thank god I decided to do an up do because when we got home he stated my hair was uneven and it being puffy had no affect on the unevenness of my hair. I brushed it off and when I showed my mom and asked if it was uneven she even said yes it's pretty bad. My hair is very puffy and my haircut is awful, and when I was in her chair she kept complaining about having to do so much hair especially around this time of year. Well duh it's Christmas, doing hair is your job. It was definitely more of my not so comfortable visits when usually it is going to her. The picture is my hair today and I got it done 2 days ago. Thanks for your review. As you stated you came to me on a day it was misting and humid outside and normally I offer my clients a cap for their hair to help prevent reversion and I did not with you so it could have been slightly prevented so I will take partial blame for that. As for the trim when you left nothing was wrong only when it started to revert back so yes ma’am you may have some unevenness. I wish you'd contacted me vs coming and writing a slanderous review without even giving me the heads up of there even being an issue. You and I have never had an issue with communication so the fact you didn’t speak up baffles. I’m not sure what was said that made you uncomfortable during your visit. Was it me saying “ I have a love hate relationship with this time of year, everyone is trying to get their hair done, everyone coming out the woodworks wanting appointments.. while I love the overflow I am only one person and I am tired.. I am exhausted”.. I am able to say these things and they be true does not mean I am complaining.. I absolutely love my job and any of my other clients can attest to that in person or per other reviews on my work itself and my attitude as a person. I’ll leave it at that but I hope with the next stylist you find and there’s an issue you communicate with them and allow them to correct the issue and not blindside them with negative reviews.
