Chateria did an excellent job on my eyebrows.. seriously, they have NEVER looked this good in my life! The whole process was very straightforward and ...didn’t take too long maybe 1.5-2 hrs from start to finish. Quiet, clean atmosphere, no complaints! Located in an unassuming strip mall in Durham, Parlour is kind so a hidden gem. Chateria has a friendly demeanor and also does hair. she gave me a much-needed trim + bang trim. Kids Cornrows Trim

Arrived for my daughters appointment and we were asked to wait. After about 15minutes she "started". Wasn't bothered by the wait. Picked my daughter u...p an hour later and Chatierra reported she was behind and only could do two cornrows. Let me be clear the style was acceptable but I would have rather she communited before I left or even at arrival, she could not do what I requested when I scheduled my appointment which was cornrows for kids. There was a reason I was seeking cornrows. As a result I had to pay her and then schedule a second appointment a week later with another beautician; which resulted in me spending more money overall to accomodate for her lack of planning and follow through. Overall won't return simply because I was not pleased with her overall customer service and her business practices. Personally felt like she just wanted the money and didnt care about the services being rendered. First time customer based off of the reviews. Last time customer based off the experience. Show more

Wow. 1st off you left her there with me never met me a day before in your life. Left her, never told me that she was even tender headed which resulted in me not doing strenuous strain on her scalp because she was boo hoo crying! I then told her we’ll do a quick style being that I was also behind schedule. I also asked what style you wanted on her hair when I spoke to you before you left her. You said it didn't matter. So I'm very confused at this review. When you arrived to get her, I explained to you AT THE DOOR I was behind schedule so sorry for not being able to do alot of cornrows but did make sure her hair was clean and neat and also said to you "you didn't tell me she was tender headed". You responded "I was wondering when you were going to figure tht out" when you seen her you said you loved it and will "DEFINITELY BE BACK AGAIN" I didn’t even charge you no where near full price.. so how was it just abt the money? ..I stand on my customer service and treat my folks with dignity and respect always as best I can. This review could never diminish my character because my people know who I am.

I absolutely love my hair. Chatiera seriously performed a miracle on my locs. Started my locs in Oct and absolutely hated them. I even cried the next ...day after getting my starter locs.
