      Massage is good after your first trimester: back pain, sore hips, legs and tired feet . In normal healthy pregnancies, massage has proved to be beneficial to both mother and unborn child. Properly applied massage can aid relaxation, benefit circulation, and soothe nerves. (Mark F. Beck)

      Deep tissue is a form of bodywork that concentrates on the deeper muscles of the body. It starts by warming the superficial muscles to relax the muscles to allow for deeper work. Deep tissue requires communication between the therapist and client so the therapist doesn't push past the clients threshold. Deep tissue can leave the client a little sore when their muscles aren't use to deep work. It is very important to drink plenty of water after the session to flush out the toxins and relieve some of the soreness. Because Deep tissue takes time to warm up muscles for deeper work, and to release knots, from tension, and toxins, deep tissue is not a full body massage. With deep tissue we get to the root of your pain and discomfort, to restore your body back to it's normal e-state and full range of motion. To promote energy, better circulation of blood and oxygen to the muscles.
