Tee is a very skilled barber. Not only is he precise, but he’s also efficient. This is why I am willing to give him an additional star as he has done ...a good job for me overall over the past several months. However, my concern is regarding his professionalism. For one, increasing charges without telling his clients (possibly a card fee?) is one concern. More recently, when I requested to reschedule with less than 24 hour notice due to being sick, I was told I would have to pay a cancellation fee. The fee is totally understandable, given the last-minute nature of my request. What I take issue with is his response to the request for him making an exception given my reason, I was told “that’s my problem.” as well as that I “don’t respect his business”. That’s not how to talk to clients. That’s not how you talk to people. It’s not a matter of money, but more of principal. The lack of professionalism experienced today in addition to suboptimal communication skills are why I will be taking my business elsewhere. I wish Tee the best, I’m hopeful he can grow from this as a person. Show more
