Hybrid lash fill (2weeks)

First off, I will start by saying she does AMAZING work. Never did I leave the studio unhappy with my lashes, HOWEVER... Araceli was late to ALL 3 of ...my appointments I had with her. Even the very first appointment. Today was my 3rd and last appointment with her. My initial appointment was at 10AM, she texted me asking me if I could do 8AM instead due to an “ overlap “ of appointments which is no problem.. so I leave my house around 7:20 KNOWING there was going to be a bit of traffic. I ended up arriving maybe 10 minutes early so I waited in my car. It’s 10 minutes after 8, and no sign of her. Not even a text letting me know she was running late. So I texted her asking if she was close, I sent the text at 8:09, didn’t get a reply until 8:20 saying she was on the way. So I waited & waited... she did not show up until around 8:50 almost a WHOLE HOUR LATE. I was already irritated at the fact that I was up early, so her being that late was unsettling. Once we got inside I asked if maybe I could get a discount for the inconveniences on MULTIPLE occasions. ( I feel that any lash tech that cares about keeping their clients would have offered it first hand) She said she wouldn’t be able to give me a discount because she had “ given one out the day before “ so I kinda just sat in confusion. She then offered to make my lashes “ fuller “ rather than to give me a discount, which I declined because that’s not what I wanted. She finally agreed to give me the discount. Like I said before hand, I love her work & I like her as a person. But just as lash techs/nail techs etc want us to respect their time, I feel they should respect ours as well. I’m normally not one to write reviews but I’m posting this for the potential new clients who have dealt with these type of things before because they can be very frustrating & our time AND money is just as valuable. I explained since the beginning the same look won’t look like on you because of the eye shape, picture was a straight eye, you have round eyes. Also it is extremely difficult to work on someone when they are twitching throughout the whole process and moving excessively. Makes the process go by a lot slower aside from the fact of super curly and criss cross lashes. I am sorry you didn’t like it I should’ve never done it since the moment you asked for not so full but full and then say you were expecting them to be like your strip lashes that were “Gappy” when you asked for something completely different. I recommend for you to be very sure of what you are asking when look for a new tech. Have a nice day 😊 it’s very aside from the fact that I’m almost one of the cheapest lash techs in San Diego people will still try to look for freebies.

Araceli was punctual, and greeted me with a warm welcome. She was professional and informative from the time of booking until the actual appointment. ...The salon was nice, clean, and very stylish. Some lash artist are heavy handed, and she was not. Very gentle and checking on numerous times during the appointment. Other lash artist take 4hrs, I was there for 3. I loved my lashes, they were everything I expected. I was able to open my eyes without burning sensation or lashes sticking to the bottom. I will def recommend to my friends and I’ll be coming to her again. Prices are very affordable, especially for the quality of work she does. Show more

Araceli is the BEST lash technician in the San Diego area!!! I’ve had extensions before but i was never satisfied with the results. Araceli is AMAZING...! She really takes her time and goes lash by lash to create the perfect result. I always get the “classy babe” (which is your standard classic set) and i get so many compliments! I honestly won’t go anywhere else anymore. My loyalty will always be to her! She’s quick, precise, and she always holds a great conversation! She makes the hours just fly by and before you know it you’re done and ready to slay the day! I’m so happy to have found her! And fortunately she works so close to my home that i can literally walk there! Our appointments are always something i look forward to! I can’t wait until my next fill! I’m a customer for life.
