My experience was rough and I can’t say it was one time. Tosha isn’t timely, will cancel last minute, is inconsistent in her pricing, takes long break...s in the middle of her appts, the shop will play highly inappropriate programming. And cherry on top, I have a Mohawk with locs. She charged the full price regardless after canceling appts, long smoke breaks in the middle of my appt, etc. I love supporting Black business, but no. Let me clarify details from her rude response: 1) I paid what was in the app plus the cost of the color. $110. See screenshots. Then sent you more for the cost of a full head despite the fact I’ve got only a third of the hair Loc’d due to a Mohawk. You just wanted to squeeze more out of us. 2) You were late after cancelling last minute the first time. 3) There was no message in the app when I booked and you know that, so don’t lie now. Which is why you messaged me in the app but should have texted me — your words. See screenshot. 4) I did go grab coffee after you weren’t at the shop because my time means something. I will always be kind, but when someone shows you they are trifling, believe them. Too bad I don’t have pictures or a video of you leaving mid appt for 30 mins. Show more

I knew you would do this because your fake friendliness went out the window after you tried to pay me what you wanted to pay me and never confirmed like it's normally done before sending any payment. Let’s not lie knowing you stopped for coffee well pass the time you were supposed to be at the salon not to mention that I went out of my way to buy your hair dye at the time you was supposed to be there, which it clearly tells you to bring to the appointment. It actually disgusting that your on her lying because you want to pay me less then what I charge. Funny you never confirmed the price or amount that you were sending. I do not collect money before the job is done to make sure that the client is satisfied. If you needed a break on the cost you could have simply asked. And the only break I took was to use the bathroom and you know that. You are a liar, your feet stinks and you don’t love God! I don’t like confrontation and you seem like one to cause problems. I’m sorry you couldn’t pull a fast one on me instead of going about it the correct way. You did exactly what I thought you would do. I hope you enjoyed your appointment that you showed up late to for coffee, me having to leave to buy YOUR hair dye, the service, care & respect that I provided to you as I do all of my customers. I work for money to pay bills the same way you do. Btw the service you selected if for the ones who have nothing all the way around as stated and you have a Mohawk read the description.

First time going and I can already tell you I got my new loc lady! She takes her times and she’s gentle. Gave me the exact look I had in mind. Very clean and she will have you looking sleek! So I booked a consultation with Ms.Tosha 11/15 at10:30am. Although it didn’t happen, face-to-face, due to a miscommunication with phone numbers she wa...s still willing to come to the shop later in the day to see me. I had the chance to speak to her over the phone and she was very nice. I also send her a video of the state of my hair, and I must say she was very professional and knowledgeable of the service can’t wait to hear back from her on what needs to be done. Definitely down the line I’m looking to rebook a appointment with her. I was referred to her by my cousin, an older sister and they locs are so dope also well kept and looking fresh and clean, and by the looks of her work it caught my attention and I believe she’s the one to save my LOCS lol.
