I went to the barbershop to get the full experience—and this guy delivered. He embraced the freedom to craft his own cut while working within the limi...tations set by my previous one. The result exceeded my expectations—I had the best beard trim of my life. Beyond the technicalities of reviewing the cut, I’ll say this: if you want to treat a visit to Benny’s place as an adventure, it works. There are plenty of things to catch your attention in this man cave: a black-and-gold aesthetic fused with sports, shots, and unique takes on music—heavily influenced by his background as a musician. He was literally singing the bass lines with the kind of enthusiasm that says, “I dig what I do.” This is the kind of creativity I love to see in people—the kind that stems from authenticity.
