Hi Sasha, thank you for your feedback. I came in early to accommodate your last-minute birthday request. The style you wanted is very time-consuming, and while the appointment ran a bit over, it was nowhere near two hours. Styles like this can take longer than expected, but I made sure to communicate with my next client, and they were completely understanding. Please don’t assume otherwise. You asked multiple times for fuller petals, and although I recommended smaller ones for better hold, I followed your direction. I checked in with you during every step and you said you loved it. You smiled, approved the look, and received several compliments from others in the salon. When you called afterward, I explained the style would need to be taken down completely to be redone. I couldn’t cancel my booked clients, but I still offered to fix it after 5 PM. It’s not my fault you had a flight—we simply couldn’t find a time that worked. I tried my best to accommodate you within reason. Most stylists wouldn’t offer to redo a style after the client approved it and left happy, but I did. The photo you posted was taken the next day and clearly shows the style wasn’t protected, which affects its appearance. In the future, please speak up if something doesn’t feel right in the moment. I no longer feel comfortable doing your hair, but I truly hope you find a Loctician who aligns better with your vision. Wishing you all the best—and a beautiful birthday. — Locs By Erika
