Unfortunately, my daughter's experience getting a "Silk Press" with the stylist fell flat from what other reviews stated. Not only was the press not d...one well...her roots weren't straightened with the comb-- leaving her perimeter still tight & curly. The flat iron afterwards to get her hair bone straight was clearly not passed through enough. Upon my arrival, I noticed my daughter's hair was not very straight and it's still puffy-- nowhere near silky straight. It was clearly a rush job because I wasn't there to monitor. I could've done this myself at home with a blow dryer & flat iron. On top of the outcome, the stylist started my daughter's hair an hour and 1/2 AFTER our scheduled appointment causing her to be late to PROM. I only tipped to be polite.

First of all this clearlyl was a set up!! I wanted to use hair spray because I knew a French roll would require hairspray but , I honored your Sweet daughter request to leave it soft so she could take it down and wear it. She was a Sweetheart! Sorry you felt this way!! Also you left her sitting an extra hour. Keep it a buck!

I've been looking for a stylist, that gets back to the basics, press and Flatiron, since my regular style of over twenty plus years has retired. befor...e I came to this hair salon ect. I had been to 7 different salons and not one of them had been able to press and Flatiron my hair that last like I had a perm, within 1 to 2 hours my hair was puffy somthing I could have done myself. I just want to thank Ms. Nikita's Beauty Bar... I feel I have found my place for the next 20 years or until she retires...

Wonderful experience! Beautiful shop with a very nice atmosphere. Nikita is so warm and personable. We discussed my hair and we actually changed the o...riginal plan based on my hair needs after she was able to check over my hair. I knew from her photos on her Yelp that she was good, but I was in for a total surprise when she turned me towards the mirror! Love , Love , Love my hair! So straight! No chemicals needed!
