Ren is such a talented barber, and our experience was AMAZING. My son is very ticklish, which made a challenging haircut. She made it fun for him, an...d at the end of his haircut, it looked so clean. The last time i sat in a barbershop was back in 2019 with my old barber. When he left the state, i would cut my own hair. I felt like that was it, BUT REN made me feel like i could trust her. Her work speaks volumes of talent, and i will return more often. Gracias Ren !!! What I love about Ren is her consistency and the way she takes her time. She could’ve done your cut a hundred times, but her attention to detail makes... you feel like it’s the first time. You can tell that she is giving you her best and isn’t taking any shortcuts, even if she could and get away with it…she doesn’t. That’s how professional and skilled she is! And I also have to note the importance of being a masc tomboi and feeling safe in the space and especially with Ren. The shop can easily fall into line like other shops and perpetuate toxicity and negativity, but that’s what makes Crossfade different. You feel safe in the shop and in the chair! Oh and don’t be afraid to get creative and add some color in there or something, she gots you! Just book her already! Show more
