Last night I booked an appointment for 9am the following morning. The appointment was confirmed. I made communication with the hair artist, Christina,... at 7am the next morning discussing my desired style and cost expectations. I arrived at the business early and waited in my car. At 8:51am, only nine minutes before my appointment i recieved a text rrom Christina saying she would be late and to expect her arrival at 9:30am. 9:30am came around but waited until 9:40 and she still never showed. I am disappointed because i need for my hair done for an event. It was a waste of my rime and unfortunately my regular hair artist is out of town. Have a good day! Show more

I cannot say enough to express how much i appreciate the stylist at The Powder Room! Christina did my hair and a he had an assistant who she is mentor...ing take my braids down, wash my hair and blow it out. Christina is a PROFESSIONAL with a wealth of knowledge about hair care. She is very proud of her credentials and believes in staying current on industry standards by continually attending workshops, seminars and classes. She takes great pride in her wisdom, knowledge and experience! With all that being said, Christina and her assistant took my appointment very late in the evening and was doing my hair until 12AM! My hair turned out perfect. I got a sew in, her braid down pattern is everything! She makes sure that the foundation is perdect before beginning the sew in process. One of the best things about Christina's work is that she LISTENS to me. She really listens and takes account what I am saying and everything turns out exactly as i imagined or better. She is a positive and upbeat individual and skilled in every aspect of hair. Im so glad that i discovered her on booksy and look forward to a long relationship! Show more
