Typical unprofessional ATL stylist. I spent 7 hours in the shop for a 3 hour service. I was referred to Toni by a friend, completed a consultation t...he week prior and was excited to began my loc journey with her. My starter loc appointment was scheduled at 3:15. I arrived at 3:18 & there was someone in her chair. She didn’t stop to greet me or give me any communication on how long it would be. I sat in the waiting area for a hour before she washed my hair. While she washed my hair she was on the phone having a very unprofessional conversation with a friend. She put deep conditioner in it, once again with no communication on how long it would be, etc. She then took the time to eat (which wasn’t a problem - completely understandable) it was when she started on someone else’s hair….. Before she began his hair she engaged in a full conversation with the client before getting started, moving with little to no urgency and once again not communicating. At that point I got restless and decided to start walking around, she then explained she was trying to let the deep conditioner sit to revert my hair - there is a point where deep conditioner reaches max potential & no longer works - I was past that point. After about a hour or so of “deep conditioning” she sent a friend who was visiting her in the shop to come rinse my hair. Once I finally got in the chair she began pretty quickly but then took frequent breaks to tend to her child and to converse with others in the shop. Eventually she did offer some wine which definitely helped lighten the mood but we didn’t finish until 10:10pm. Her work is nice and neat but my time is very valuable and I don’t feel like she valued my time. She did not apologize once for running late and definitely did not offer any sort of discount on the current service or any future service. She even blocked my ability to book future appointments.
