I came to Salon Pressed and saw stylist Star! She did a natural hair consultation with me and then I received a shampoo, deep condition, blow dry and ...trim service. She explained everything she was doing with my hair. She shared the amount of hair needed to be trimmed to remove damaged ends. She was highly professional and the shop was very calming and peaceful! Star takes time with you and it is so encouraging to see there are stylist who still care about you having HEAlthy Hair!!! Basic Wash Combo

Booked a 9am appointment for today for a basic wash combo. Called the day before to confirm my appointment. Showed up the next day at 8:55am and waite...d in my car for 5 minutes then went up to the door at exactly 9am. The doors were locked, salon was dark and empty. Went back to my car and waited for about 15 minutes thinking the stylist was probably just running late. Around 9:15, I called the salon #. The lady who answered was the same person I spoke to the day before when I called to confirm my appointment. Told her I was here for my 9am appointment but nobody was there. She told me she'd give the stylist a call to see where was at and. I told her no problem, expecting that she'd call me back after she spoke to the stylist. 9:40 rolls around and still no one has showed up, nor have I received a call back. I call a second time and no one picks up. I'm prompted to leave a voicemail. I introduce myself as a client and explain the situation at hand. I state that I have been waiting for close to an hour for my appointment and that no one showed up, which resulted in me running behind on my plans for the rest of the day. I get tired of waiting so I leave. I come back 2 hours later and see that the salon is now open. I go inside and see someone working on a clients hair. I greeted him and told him that I came a few hours before for an appointment but no one was there. He asked who my stylist was and I told him. He then informed me that my stylist in charge of my appointment was actually out of town. This wasn’t stated on the booking site, no one informed me or apologized and tried to reschedule my appointment. I am not sure I will be returning at all which is unfortunate bc it looks like the salon does great work but now I’ll never know. Show more
