I had a very disappointing experience with this barbershop. Despite confirming my appointment for 2 pm several times and receiving no indication of an...y issues, I was met with a very unwelcome surprise upon my arrival. The owner informed me, quite abruptly, that my appointment had been canceled, without any prior communication to that effect. He then proceeded to demonstrate a significant lack of professionalism, displaying a confrontational attitude and even showing me that he had blocked my number, confusing it with canceling the appointment. To make matters worse, he attempted to justify his actions by claiming he had called me multiple times, only to reveal he had been dialing the wrong number, a mistake that squarely falls on him given my correct details were provided through my Booksy account. The owners inability to handle the situation gracefully, culminating in him asserting his ownership to dismiss me from the premises with a dismissive ‘I don’t care’ attitude, was the last straw for me. Based on my experience, I cannot recommend this barbershop. It’s clear that customer service and basic courtesy are not priorities here. He does not even deserve one star!!! Show more

46 year old white guy, just moved to Ardmore, for perspective. First 3 haircuts in the area, i went to S.T.'s. I felt like i was treated like an old g...uy that doesn't know what a good haircut looks like. Found Styles by Joey, and made an appointment. Joey called to confirm, and i was happy from that point on. Walked in, and it's just an old school barbershop. It's what i grew up with, and what i appreciate. This place is only Joey, so every cut has his name on it. You can tell he takes pride in his work. He asked what i wanted and took his time giving me a great haircut. I told him about the screw ups i had before, and he knew what to do. I wasn't looking for anything complicated... Just a haircut. He knows his craft and gave me a regular haircut. My lady loves the cut too. Said it's the best I've had in a while. Amazing details: 1-he shaved the weird random hairs i have growing just in front of my hairline. 2-he has a high pressure air hose to get rid of the loose hairs after a cut. Never had this before. It was awesome! Love the place. Will be a regular here. Show more
