It’s so hard to find a quality braider who has good energy, takes their time, doesn’t pull your scalp, and not booked out for months in advanced. Tenn...eh checked every box for me. You’re definitely going to pay for what you get with her. Neat parts ✅flat (not bulky)✅gentle around the edges ✅, and friendly vibes ✅. I have some thinning and she knows how to cover my concerns. I’m always comfortable coming to her and although she may be a little more expensive than the competition, Tenneh is worth it! I also love the Sunday early morning appointments 🙌🏾 You know the braider is legit when they have a full head of healthy hair themselves ✅✅✅ Don’t hesitate to book! Show more

Unfortunately I have to give 2 stars. the amount I paid and the quality of work does not match. While my braider was welcoming and nice, my hair did ...not come out decent. Of course it looked fine Initially after completion but it has been downhill since. My passion twist are unraveling and I had some hair that actually come out only after 3 days. I hate to say it but I believe it was a rush job. I remember my braider saying that she had to “hurry up so she could pick her kids up”. While understandable I would’ve have taken my business else where. So overall the atmosphere was nice however be mindful. Show more

After visiting Tenneh's African Hair Braiding for the second time, I have nothing but rave reviews for them. Tenneh and Susie did my hair and I love ...the outcome each time. They are extremely pleasant and very warm and welcoming. We have good conversations during the session and the atmosphere is pleasant. I would recommend Tenneh's to anyone who wants expert hair braiding in a clean and comfortable place. I recently I relocated to Monroe, NC and yesterday I drove 40 minutes to Tenneh's!
