So first off, I love my hair. I feel like I’ve reached peak ethereal Persephone vibes. I’m a nonprofit professional, working and attending a few eve...nts as a vendor and attendee. I figured since I would be out camping getting my hair braided would be a time saver and protect my already frizzy curl-mop from the sun. I did a bunch of research and decided for my hair type Knotless box braids were the way go. I was also beside myself. I had no local prospects and driving to Miami to get my hair done by someone I knew was out of the question. I hate driving. So I jumped on here and started looking through professionals and their social media. I booked with Tiffanie after scrolling through their IG and seeing how close in proximity they were to my neighborhood. Tiffanie was really accommodating and patient with the whole process. It’s a known issue for my layered and curly texture to be a little problematic, and I’m a creative type so of course I want fantasy colors outside of the norm. I had to reach out a few times in advance to ask a few questions and they were always easy going and provided the info I needed to get the brand they worked best with. I’m not tender headed and I’ve dealt with other experiences that made me reconsider saying that, Im grateful to say that my sensitivity was not a concern because Tiffanie was far from heavy handled, she was really gentle, It didn’t feel uncomfortable, and I fell asleep a few times. 🙈😂 Tiffany was kind and graceful. I was a trip, I got stressed out over a Netflix show because they almost killed a cat, had to take a few vape breaks, forced her and her partner to watch Hamilton with me- she was so pleasant and receptive to my personality, we cracked some jokes, had some real talk it was really nice and homey in her hair studio. I felt like I was back in PR, & she taught me about her Island in the Caribbean I didn’t know about! Her demeanor and professionalism was chefs kiss 💋🤌🏽 I felt welcome and am grateful she took her time perfecting my box braids, and sealing them to perfection. It was really awesome finding someone in my local community who provided awesome impromptu customer/client services. I strongly recommend going to her for all your dreading, braiding and hair maintenance needs! Finally, ugh- I’m obsessed with my hair. 💚💙🖤 Show more
Feed-In Braids (2 Braids)

Took 2 1/2 hours for 2 braids. Despite showing a picture several times and verbally informing the direction I wanted my braids, the stylist did not co...mply. Also, the braids were thinner than expected. Stylists have a habit of doing hair away from the mirror. Client has no idea what's happening until done. That culture needs to change. this will prevent disappointment and waste of time, effort and money. Additionally, she recorded my hair without my permission. I'm not on social media AT ALL and do not appreciate being recorded and placed online or stored personally. (edited) she did NOT need to detangle my hair. I asked where to park and she did not respond until after my hair was done. The Husband happened to come out and I confirmed (there is no street parking and property had multiple cars parked). I turned around wondering what you were doing and THATs when you told me you were recording. I checked my hair via my phone AFTER you were almost done and sighed in disappointment. You're slow, lack communication and professionalism. A kitchen braider. When I told you I was unhappy, you gave the phony "sorry". regardless of stitch braids or not, I TOLD you the direction and size of braids and you agreed. You failed. own that. Show more

Yes it took me that long because I had to de tangle your hair and not to mention you were late by sitting in your car after u arrived so my husband had to go outside to get u. You showed me a picture of stitch braids (not what you booked)with a part on the side. In the process of doing ur hair u looked at ur hair by using your phone camera (selfie mode) numerous of times to check your hair so of course I’m thinking everything is fine but not once u said anything in order for me to fix what u didn’t like. How u know I was recording and not taking pictures? …Oh because I told u I was. Once again you said nothing. Take note from this experience that communication is key! And thank you for the review . Thanks again for editing your review and giving me a one less star after u seen what I had to say. Facts hurt
