I have been going to this salon since February 2024, I have very kinky and curly hair and it requires special love and attention. I drive literally 35...+min to come here because of the quality of work they provide. I am happy here for now and I appreciate that they are always open to take my appointments. The lady who washed my hair did not do a good job. i felt like my hair was getting pulled out and upset bc I didn't do a deep conditioner.. then left ...me sitting under hair dry 30 after it had turned off left with a headachemorethananything.. my first experience was better than this, which is why i came back. This has to be one of the worst experiences ever. After reading the google reviews I decided to set an appointment. I got there 5 minutes before the ...appointment they didn’t see me until 45mins after arrival, mind you they only had 3 clients there. I got my hair wash, I didn’t plan on getting a deep conditioning but they told me I had to in order to get a blow out (charged $15). Once I was done with the wash I went to someone’s chair where she pull and tug on my hair. I told her many times it hurt she apologized and continued to pull! She then proceeded to flat iron my hair, she went over the sections 3-5x I told her to only go over it max 2x because I don’t want heat damage. She laughed and started speaking Spanish and continued to do 3-5x. By that time I could smell my hair burning. I was extremely upset. She informed me I needed a trim I said okay (charged $20)which she barely did correctly. I clearly saw the split ends when she claimed she was done. I told her to cut a little more but she instead went over it with the flat iron one more time 🤬 I was livid. My hair had been completely fried! By the end I went to check out she told me the price is $140 total. I was shocked and asked her how is $65+15+20=140? What type of math is this!? She called the owner Jani and came and told me some bs. Mind you I can smell my hair (burnt) so I’m upset and now they making up prices. I didn’t back down because I was extremely dissatisfied! She then began to talk and Spanish and settle on the original correct price. I went home, in the car all I smell is burnt hair even after I woke up the next day still smelled it, I even smell it on my pillow even though I wrap my hair at night. Please don’t believe all “wonderful comments” it’s pure BS. I wasted $100 and my hair is completely damaged! Show more
