This was an amazing salon. They were awesome, wholesome people. There is only 1 rating for Angels Spa & Beauty lounge. And that is 5 stars... They kne...w exactly what they were doing. The hairstylist was incredibly fast and precise with everything. A true Magician with scissors or anything relating to cosmetology. My little girls face lit up when she saw her hair. It was amazing!!!! They have a photo of her hair. I wish I had taken a picture in the salon it's gorgeous. I am the type to live in the moment, so I never think to oull out my phone to record or photograph. I did my best to rake a good one when we got home, but she was already running around like crazy so my photo does absolutely no justice to the true beauty of what the outcome was. 5 stars is not enough for Angels. It's very clean and neat inside with a great vibe. My favorite salon has now been established. I will be back in a month for myself and for my little one to have a touch-up. Show more

Box braids (No Hair Added)

The owners of this establishment are very nice and clean! They made sure I was comfortable the whole time and they were very hospitable. If I were to ...return to this establishment it would be STRICTLY because of them. That being said that is why I have two stars instead of none at all based upon my experience. As for my hair, I was very disappointed by the work done by Yesenia who I scheduled it with. This was my first time booking with Yesenia and I scheduled to get box braids done. My appointment was for 12:30 and I didn’t get seen until 1:30. After finally sitting in her chair she realized she didn’t have 1/1b hair to use. The options were to use other colors they have or drive her to her house to pick some packs up. Due to my job and my natural hair color, 1/1b was my only option. Beauty supply stores were closed so my only choice at this point was to drive her to her house to pick up the packs. Once we arrived at her house (15 mins away) and was driving back, Yesenia asked to go out of our way to get food for herself. Not only did I think this was inappropriate but seeing how I was already two hours late into my appointment just upset me more. At this point it’s 2:30 when I got back in her chair and I needed to be somewhere by 8 which means I need to leave her chair by 7. Not only did I leave late (7:40) but my hair was not parted evenly and they are different sizes. This is the worst box braids I ever got done. Seeing how I was late to get to my event I didn’t bother to bring up my issue because my whole head would have to get re-done and honestly I didn’t want her to do anything more. I regret booking with her. She may be good with other styles but box braids is not it and her professionalism is lacking. Again the owners were wonderful, they apologized repeatedly and offered a discount off the final price along with a comped trim for the back of my hair. Show more

Your hair had a particular case that made Yesenia take more time than expected, I guaranty you she is an expert in what she does that´s why we were suggesting some products to repair your hair. As you can see we always get good reviews and good stars, I'm not saying that someday we don´t get the expected results from the customer and that´s totally fine! We´re willing to get your hair done next time and make a treatment to fix it and make it more healthy before the braids with a free hair wash and blow dry. We apologize for all the inconvenient and we gonna make sure that doesn´t happened again. The braid you Got has a lot of Good impressions!!

I went yesterday 1/12/23 for the first time and I had about 1 year that I did not fix myself in any room out of disgust and I did not feel pleased, I ...wanted to make a process of change in my hair, and I found them by chance, and I went, Wow!!!! I was happy and pleased, the owner attended me super friendly, they took care of the process of my hair and the result was the best, I recommend it especially to Yesenia, she really took care of my hair and was not interested in abusing my pocket but that I was happy!!!!
