The one thing I can say about Gary is that he’s always professional friendly willing to listen to what you have to say. Gary also ease my anxiety when... my barber retired after cutting my hair for 20 years. Achieve that by cutting my hair, pretty much exactly the way my form of barber did. He also does it in a third of the time. which is 20 minutes.To put it in perspective, I’ve received about 500 haircuts from my former barber which I calculated 500 hours or 30,000 minutes, with Gary at the same rate would be 166 hours in 10,000 minutes. So I wasted 2/3 of my life sitting in a chair while I could have been doing productive things like spending time with my family, friends in life loves. A good barber is not just someone that cuts your hair they become someone you depend on to help you like and love what you see in the mirror. They are heroes in their own right. and Gary is my hero. Tasha educates me on products, techniques, and styling tools to ensure I can maintain my style in between appointments. Most recently, Tasha and I planned a new short pixie style. Tasha sensed my trepidation and incrementally cut my hair shorter each visit until my desired length and comfort was achieved. I have tried to show grace with this barber because in to the beginning he did a great job cutting my son’s hair which is why we returned. But after a... while I am not sure what in the world happened. One time my son came out looking like he didn’t even get his hair cut and I sent him right back in to get it fixed and even had to talk to the barber. The hair cuts have been less than good. But this time… he did a GOD AWFUL job and my son is so upset he doesn’t even want to go to school until it grows out. He came home with a crooked hairline, uneven all around his head and way shorter than my son asked for. My son even shows him the same picture of what he wants each time. I’m so upset I can’t even believe this barber thought his work was acceptable. I paid $40 and even tipped him 20%. We are officially done. Show more
