I've been to Molly's 3-4 times. The first time I came in, I told her I wanted to cut off my damage. And that's what she did and I loved it. (First pic...ture. Looked so cute.) Went back a couple more times, never had an issue, tipped very well also every time. Had some good laughs, chats, etc. This last time I went on Saturday, paid for a wash and blow, protein treatment, and flat iron. Didn't get the $15 protein treatment, but that's not even what I care about. I've added no extra heat between that appointment (My hair completely held up until Thursday. I wouldn't have had a reason to add extra heat as I work from home and don't go anywhere for anyone to see me. I got my hair done for an event on Saturday, and until yesterday it was consistently in a bonnet), and yesterday when I washed it, my curl pattern is now completely ruined. (2nd picture is curl pattern before appt, 3rd is after I washed, 4th is after a leave in conditioner over night and rinse.) When I was putting water in it, I was smelling burnt hair, but I honestly didn't think anything of it because she's done my hair multiple times like I said. When I addressed her about the situation, telling her my hair was curly when she washed it, she took no accountability and just brushed me off with some tips from Google. Saying she used the same products on me that she's done all her other clients. This is very disheartening, and I've never been this upset over a hair appt before. Edit: 08/03/25 After her response, it's clear she's just a liar. You can see in the text where she says everything she did that day. Nowhere was a protein treatment listed. $15 is never that deep. And once again, at this poker table, you can see my hair was clearly not damaged and forming perfect curls. She's probably fine for braids, but would never suggest her if you actually care about your natural hair.

Your hair was already fried love, if I cut all the damage there wouldn't be anything else left. So we did a bob. You got it lightened it too many times prior to coming to me to the point your porosity is very low and elasticity is as well. If you keep getting straighteningng services your curl pattern will be affected/altered. I used the same products for any straightening service I do. I did give u a protein treatment, if u felt I didn’t you could have asked and I would have showed you. I don't know anyone that would pay for a service they didn't receive. I pray you find a hairstylist that suits your needs!
