The online scheduling system is pretty straightforward and works well on the website. The ladies that I dealt with on the day of my appointment were v...ery friendly and professional. If there was any downside to the entire process, it’s that I found it a bit difficult to find where I needed to go once inside the building. I had to ask two separate people to point me in the right direction.

Only issue was I was asked to remove my belt at the door of the Courthouse, during the customary metal detection check, for the first time in my life,... and didn't realize I had inadvertently dropped an heirloom knife sheath, while removing it. Had to drive back across town to pick it up, which the security guard who had requested the belt removal kindly did hold for me. CHL process was quick. First time I'd ever been fingerprinted, but the technology is clearly advanced. Very friendly sheriff helped and the office staff was jovial.

Staff at the front desk are always rude. I arrived to my appointment on time and even a few minutes early. The lady at the front desk then refused to ...let me have my appointment because I forgot to bring my renewal form that took me three minutes to fill out in the office. So if my appointment is at 2:15 and I get there at 2:13 and it takes me literally in three minutes to fill out the form technically I’m late one minute. You are allowed to be up to 5 minutes late so why wasn’t I allowed to keep my appointment? Other than the fact she gave me a dirty look from the second I walked up to the window and before I even said a word? Sounds like discrimination to me.
