i think they did a great job and i thought the service was great, although i would have to say that i feel like they could practice their nail art a b...it more as my french tips look a little bit messy and not exactly like my inspired pic. i also would like to add that on the website it says that acrylics are 50$, french tips and almond shape are an extra 5$ each, so i calculated my total to 60$ and that is what i had brought with me since that was what was advertised, but they had charged me 80$, 20$ over what the website said. i was a bit annoyed, but decided to look past it as last time i got my nails done here they looked great, and pushed it off as a bad day for the nail tech. i hope that if i continue to come here my experiences will be better, or i might have to find a new salon. I find people at Sophia’s nails always do a good job. There’s a huge choice of colours. I had a pedicure and feel nice and pampered at the end of it. ...Massage chairs are very comfortable. Atmosphere is pleasant. Communication with therapist can be a little stilted at times but it my local place and I enjoy coming back. Show more

I came here to have my nails done for my engagement and came with a simple design in mind. I grew out my natural nails for this over several weeks. I ...booked with a specific technician because I read she had great reviews but when I arrived, they told me some other person (Kathy) would take me 15 min later. When I finally sat down and showed her the design she immediately said “no” and that I needed a full acrylic set with dip powder to do this. My natural nails were long enough so I don’t understand why she couldn’t have done it on my normal nails. Although I told her this was for my engagement she did not offer an alternative suggestion. I ended up just picking a gel color and she cut my nails shorter on one hand in comparison to the other. She also rushed toward the end because another person was waiting, even though I had booked the appointment, and she said “i’m almost done i’m almost done!!!” and rushed.
