The salon is old and getting rundown, missing tons of polish colors and my pedicure was painful. The woman hurt me multiple times and just laughed whe...n I flinched or said ow. Definitely the worst pedicure I’ve ever had. Show more

Sophia’s used to be my go to, but they’ve gone down in quality over the last year. For today’s visit, I did a dip manicure. The nail tech asked me if ...I want to cut down my nails, I said yes, and she showed me the length she’d cut off, which I approved. But then, she started filing…and filing…and filing, until it felt like she was filing on my actual nail. Instead of the long nails I had grown out, my nails are now all stubby. Plus, I had to spend about 20 minutes after my manicure to scrape off all of the extra nail polish that was under my nails and on the sides. It was an all around sloppy and disappointing job! Edited to add: four of my nails chipped within one week. Show more

I made my appointment with Kathy but was assigned to someone else. My nails were filed sideways and even after telling the nail tech some are still at... a slant. Unsure why there is a booking service to book an appointment with a specific nail tech if they just assign anyone. Show more

I decided to try Sophia Nail Spa and had a pedicure done yesterday. Overall, I thought that the pedicure was done well. The only feedback I would gi...ve is on entering the Spa although there is a big front desk area there was nobody there to greet and direct me what to do or where to go. One of the working technicians asked if I had an appointment and pointed for me to go to a chair. I think that needs to be addressed as it doesn't look professional. Plus, when my nails had dried and it was time for me to pay and leave, again, nobody was at the front desk, and I had to ask another working technician who was going to take my payment. Little things like this can be off putting to a first time client especially when the actual service was fine. It's the whole experience that makes a mark on someone on whether to return or not. The 3 stars I have given is for the technician that did my service, but I don't even know her name! Show more
